The 6-year-old Airbus A330-300 of Singapore Airlines fell on the nose while being parked at the passenger boarding bridge in Singapore on Sunday morning.
According to the airlines, no one was injured. Only one technician who carried out the inspection of the chassis system was on board at the time of the incident. The only inconvenience was for the passengers of flight from Singapore to Hong Kong, who were supposed to fly aboard this aircraft. As a result, their flight was delayed for 40 minutes until the airline found another aircraft.
The photos from the scene show that A330-300 damaged its bow and lost the front door that was torn off by the passenger boarding bridge while the aircraft was falling.
