A new security control zone shall be operating at Boryspil International Airport.
According to the press-office of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the new security control procedure involves two stages for passing the formalities. Identification of passengers and capturing data from the boarding pass will now take place immediately before the security control zone and not before the scanner. It reduces the waiting time and makes the formalities procedure more comfortable.
Andrei Pivovarskiy, the Minister of Infrastructure, expressed hope that new technology would reduce the queues and receive positive feedback from the passengers. “Boryspil airport has received significant funds for infrastructure development over the recent period. Now it has to develop its customer-centric services systematically. The new decisions for security control zone is just another confirmation to the fact that the central air gate of Ukraine is becoming more comfortable for passengers”, said the Minister.
