Singapore Airlines aircraft fell on its nose at the airport in Singapore

On Sunday morning, the 6-years-old Airbus A330-300 of Singapore Airlines dropped on its nose during its standing by the jetway in the airport of Singapore.

According to the airline’s data, nobody was harmed. At the time of the incident, only one technician was on the aircraft, who was conducting a landing gear system check. However, the passengers of the Singapore-Hong Kong flight, who were supposed to depart on the damaged line aircraft, got faced with the small inconvenience. As a result, their flight had been delayed by 40 minutes, before another aircraft was found.

The photos from the accident site show that A330-300 was damaged at the nose and lost its front door – it was torn off by the jetway elements during falling of the plane.
