Boryspil Airport is to put Terminal F into operation for low-cost airlines in case it serves at least 15 flights a day, said Director General of the airport, Pavel Riabikin, in his message for journalists.

As he claims, restarting the work of the terminal for serving fewer flights will cause losses for the enterprise.

As of today, only low-cost air company Air Arabia flies from Boryspil (one flight a day). October may see launch of flights from the airport by Ryanair (two flights a day); however, Boryspil currently cannot fulfil all the requests of the low-coster, Riabikin reports.

Terminal F set to work at the end of October 2010. Since then and till 2013, it had been the basic terminal for Ukrainian International Airlines. On 27 October 2013, it was put on hold.

At present, only one air-terminal complex operates in Boryspil – Terminal D.
