In the low-cost transportation segment, most often through Ukrainian traditional offline travel agencies, tickets for the first half of 2018 were issued for Ryanair, the Amadeus company reported.
The share of this low-cost accounted for 39.24% of all sales in Ukraine for low-cost flights of air carriers, which were made through the Amadeus Content Rail&LCC system.
In second place with a share of 35,06% goes Wizz Air, the third – EasyJet – 7,5%, and closes the top five new Italian public sector, which began flights only last year, Ernest Airlines with a share of 7.37%.
As reported in Amadeus, the volume of sold Ryanair tickets in the first half of 2018 through the Amadeus Content Rail&LCC system increased by 26% compared to the same period last year. Sales of tickets by Ukrainian agencies Wizz Air Hungary increased by 121%, and EasyJet – by 55%.
“In General, the trend of air sales indicates a positive dynamics of the market in Ukraine: the total number of tickets sold by agencies through the Amadeus Content Rail&LCC system for the period increased by 51%”, – noted in Amadeus.
