Simplified security control procedure at Boryspil


As the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure informs, the updated technology of passing control for aviation security provides two stages of formalities passage. Identification of the passenger and reading of the boarding pass data will now take place immediately before the security test area, and not just in front of the scanner, which almost doubled the waiting time and made the formalities passage more comfortable.



Wizz Air expands its presence in Warsaw


As from May 13th, low-cost company Wizz Air will begin basing the sixth aircraft A320 in Warsaw Chopin Airport and will open four new routes.

In particular, the low-coster aircraft are to fly from the Polish capital to Aberdeen (Great Britain), Bari (Italy), Bristol (Great Britain) and Reykjavík (Iceland).



Alaska Airlines lost CEO’s luggage


The Head of Alaska Airlines, Brad Tilden, confessed to the participants of an airline gathering in Washington, D.C., that the air company had lost his baggage.

“The media is here and I'm hoping that you don't write this down and print it”, he said with a smile.
