UIA to replace Wizz Air on Kyiv-Venice route

In the summer season of 2016, Ukrainian International Airlines will reopen flight Kyiv-Venice, closed by the Wizz Air low-coster.

The flights are to take place as on 27 March 2016. The schedule provides for departures from Kyiv to Venice on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 08:00 pm with return from Venice to Kyiv on the next day – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 04:50 am.



UIA can get up to five aircrafts in 2016


Ukrainian International Airlines consider the possibility of acquiring up to five Boeing 737NG airplanes in 2016, reports the air carrier’s Press Secretary Ievgeniia Satska.

According to her, one new aircraft will be delivered from a plant, and up to four planes aged to 10 years will be leased by the airline at a secondary market.



British Airways to introduce the Dreamliner First Class


Several days ago, British Airways started flying on elongated dreamliners Boeing 787-9 with the first class.

This plane type has only eight first-class seats expanding into a horizontal bed. They are located according to the pattern 1+2+1. The short version of Boeing 787-8, also used by British Airways, has only the business class and economy class.



Royal Jordanian has increased the number of flights to Kyiv


Royal Jordanian Airlines has increased the number of flights from Kyiv to Amman (Jordan) from two to three flights per week. Now the flights are operated on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.

The airline is using Embraer 170 regional jet. In some cases, the company may opt for a more spacious aircrafts like Embraer 190 or Airbus A320.
